As you follow your guide, you find yourself out of the desert and (after a bit) towards some wetlands. The phoenix known as Krinlith has been keeping you well fed and hydrated along the trip, which you definitely appreciate. He seemed to know your needs before you realized them. As you get deeper into the swamp, the water begins to rise to waist-height. You look around and happen to notice some kind of mossy-seaweed stuff floating nearby you, and for some strange reason, feel yourself drawn to it. Suddenly you hear your guide call out "Stop right there! Typhoon, don't you dare do what I think you're about to do. They're with me and are under my protection." Suddenly, what was once just some plant stuff rises up and appears as a kelpie before you. "I wasn't gonna drown them or anything, I was just messing around" she replies a tad grumpily. You suddenly find yourself more grateful to have him with you. From what you can remember of the legends, kelpies used to eat people. You're not so sure she was just messing around. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you or anything, I just wanted to have a bit of fun. I'm Typhoon. It's nice to meet you." she says. "That's much better, thank you. Remember, not everyone finds jokes like that funny upon first meeting." he replies, giving her a chiding look, as if to suggest this wasn't the first time she's tried similar stunts. "I know, I know." she says, looking down with a bit of a pout. As she says this, Krinlith looks at you with his warm eyes and says "She's really sweet, but she's a warrior like I am, and sometimes we tend to have a bit of a rougher way of playing and teasing. Warriors can occasionally get a bit carried away with that kind of stuff, but she means well. " Somehow his words just seem to make you feel as if everything is okay, and you give a small nod, running your fingers through your hair, and reply with "No worries, I'm okay." following up with a "It's all good, Typhoon", giving her a small smile, which she returns. After spending a bit of time with Typhoon getting to know her, you feel it's time to move on and explore a bit more. As you look towards your guide, you see him shift forms before your eyes. The phoenix that was there a moment ago is now a Blue Roan Stallion. "You look like you're getting a bit of wanderlust. Would you like to continue on our way?" he says to you as he shifts forms. "Yes, please." you reply. "It's been good getting to know you, Typhoon. Perhaps we'll meet again." you continue.

"Follow me" says Krinlith. All in all, this has been a strange and wonderful journey, and you're very much looking forward to continuing it.
